Welcome to the Upper Peninsula Human Resource Association!

We would like to invite you to join the Upper Peninsula Human Resource Association (UPHRA), a somewhat informal association of individuals with responsibility for human resource functions in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Members include individuals involved in many aspects of the management of organizations, as well as those with dedicated human resource roles.

We have approximately 100 members from private industry, education, public and nonprofit employers. Our purpose is “to promote the development of human resources management in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through the exchange and sharing of information via meetings, discussions, and formal presentations.”

Annual dues of the association are $40, which generally covers the cost of four quarterly meetings. These meetings are designed around educational presentations on current human resource topics. This site you’re currently visiting contains (or will contain) a history of our organization, a copy of our bylaws, a listing of our current Board of Directors, and an application for membership.

We invite you to join our association. Once we receive your dues, you will receive a copy of our complete membership roster which serves as an excellent resource of human resources professionals in the Upper Peninsula. Please consider joining us today.
